It started with a simple ritual—getting our nails done. An hour carved out of a busy day to feel a little more like ourselves: polished, expressive, beautiful.

But over time, that ritual began to feel like a compromise.

We've experienced the damage that's often hidden beneath the surface—over-filed nail beds, aggressive gel removals, repeated exposure to UV light. Our nails grew thinner, weaker, more vulnerable. And still, we were expected to smile through it, to accept it as the price of beauty.

We've also known the quiet frustration of unmet creativity. Walking into a salon with inspiration in hand—an image, a style, a feeling—only to hear, "Sorry, we can't do that." So we settle for what's on the wall, even when it doesn't speak to us.
